   About Heritage Centre
style or hide default image area myspace music page code by Eileen
Compared to weezer, blur, Idlewild and the flaming lips, heritage centre have been Tipped as ones to watch frequently throughout 2009. receiving both national and international airplay, backed by critical acclaim, they have become renowned for their powerful live shows and unique brand of alternative pop.

Their debut EP "The City, The Tree and The Fox" was released on the 20th February to a sold out Whelans. Several runs of the EP sold out.

May 8th saw the band return to Whelans to release their single “I Will Protect You”. The song is taken from the bands second EP titled "Sidney Maxwell Williamson". The EP was produced by Tom McFall (Weezer, Bloc Party, R.E.M. Snow Patrol and Stars) and is set for release on the 13th November 2009. The release will be supported by a nationwide jaunt.

Always a band with a full back pocket - Heritage Centre have just finished recording their debut album in Canada with acclaimed producer David Newfeld (Broken Social Scene, Super Furry Animals and Los Campesinos). The album is set for release in 2010.
