    well. it's a different type of class really. it's not a content focused class. it's more personal developement and thinking. pArt of the game is building community. So in a way, for this to work, they can't be hating me.

    today was a much better day. some other teachers said the first dat of summer school is always like that and they were just testing me because i'm new.  we're cool now though. They're mostly smiles. I over heard one of them talking to another "ms. davis is so cool!" I was still hard on them though, but there was also plenty of laughing..oh and learning. there's a little boy who spends all of class time buying for my attention :o! He get's his work done though, but I should probably come to class monday with a uni-brow. LOL! @ ur jerk comment...

    1 day of teaching high school students.

    1. super cute shoes with zero support. i felt miserable by 3pm.
    the A/C went out in my room and 2. it was 92 degrees. my poor kids were dying...but i told other people they were just sweating out the summer fever.
    3. the kids were talking ALL the time.so i threatened. often. now, i'm a jerk. :(
