Tim Keller is the frontman, lyricist, and occasional songwriter for the ongoing epic progressive rock project Discs of Fury. He also teaches vocal lessons out of his home in Greenwood, specializing in helping singers of rock and pop music preserve their voices and hone their own unique singing styles.
Jared Borkowski grew up in Seattle developing a foundation in rock music and song writing. His early rock band, The Spit-Licks, won first place in the Experience Music Project's (EMP) “Sound Off!” Battle of the Bands competition in 2003. Jared holds a BM degree in Jazz Studies from the University of Washington School of Music where he also extensively studied classical guitar performance with Steven Novacek and Michael Partington. As a disciplined guitarist of many styles, Jared performs regularly in the Seattle area and teaches private guitar lessons. His main interests are in composing, recording, and performing original music.
Scott Teske is a versatile bassist, educator, composer and band leader living in Seattle. A freelance classical musician, Scott makes regular appearances with local orchestras and is principal bass of the Northwest Symphony Orchestra. Scott performs with many ensembles in Seattle's social dance scene, including Rhythm Syndicate (salsa), Tango Diamante (tango) SpeakEasy (swing), Men in Black (swing), and the Ragtime Waltz Orchestra. In the club scene Scott is known for his electric bass work with indie-pop band sea.mine. An active teacher, Scott leads group lessons for students in public schools & local youth symphonies and also maintains a studio of private students.
Maria Mannisto is a classically trained singer, pianist and organist. Her mastery of a wide range of vocal styles has made her a sought-after performer of new music around the Seattle area, including operas by Tom Baker, Bill Smith and Wayne Horvitz. She has also performed numerous venues in Seattle and California as the keyboardist of Vital Idol - a Billy Idol tribute, and can be heard on the soundtracks and trailers of many movies and video games, including "Ghostrider", "The Forbidden Kingdom", and "Halo 3". Maria is currently pursuing her M.M. at the University of Washington, where she recently performed the role of Sandrina in Mozart's "La finta giardiniera" and Violetta in scenes from Verdi's "La Traviata". She is also the organist of the Finnish Lutheran Church in Seattle.
