Review AllAccess Magazine 'Loyal To None' is the long awaited debut release from German guitarist Herman Frank. Although Frank's first claim to fame came was as a member of juggernaut metallic blitz krieg German metal legends ACCEPT, in the 80's Herman Frank arguably became synonymous with his personal band VICTORY. Logically metal fans would expect "Loyal To None" to sound like his previous outings. That is partly true, this album is indeed a mixture of Accept and Victory ,that has been injected with annabolic steriods! Without a doubt this is much heavier, louder and infinitely more aggressive than Accept, Victory and even Moon 'Doc. Herman unleashes the wildest riffs and melodies he has ever come up with. The opening "Moon Li" pulls you in then without warning as Herman and the band rip your souls apart with hard rock fury on numbers like, "7 Stars", "Father Buries Son" and "Heal Me". Stefan Schwarzmann goes mental on his drum set throughout the album, while bass player Peter Pichl makes sure he seals the deal with his "no nonsense" rhythm section/engine. Still, the real surprise probably comes with lead vocalist Jiotis Parcharidis formerly of "Human Fortress", a prodigy in his own right whose endless passion and tireless aggression make him the edge of the spear called "Loyal To None". So, is this release better than Accept? Dare I say it... yes, simply because it is heavy, melodic, passionate and aggressive, and above all youthful! All songs on "Loyal To None" are power dynamites, but if one is qualified to cause the listener a heart attack then be forewarned, this album will shake your soul. This is so refreshing a debut that it deserves to be played louder than loud! "Loyal To None" is definitely on my list for one of the best Metal releases in 2009. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Direkt aus der Oberliga des Metal legt Herman Frank aus dem niedersächsischen Hannover sein Solo-Debütalbum „Loyal To None“ vor.

Herman Frank, ex-Gitarrist von ACCEPT, sowie Mitbegründer der international anerkannten und erfolgreichen Bands VICTORY und MOON DOC.., erfüllt sich mit seiner Produktion „Loyal To None“ den lange angepeilten Traum, musikalisches Terrain nach eigenen Ideen und Vorstellungen abzustecken. Neben Herman gehören Jiotis Parcharidis (HUMAN FORTRESS / VICTORY, Vocals), Peter Pichl (RUNNING WILD, Bass), sowie Stefan Schwarzmann (HELLOWEEN / KROKUS, Drums) zur Besetzung dieser Formation. Ambitionierte Musiker, deren Wurzeln in der internationalen Musik-Szene gründen und die sich ihre instrumentalen Fertigkeiten durch weltweite Tourneen erspielt haben. Der Gitarrist liefert hier nicht nur perfektes Metal-Entertainment, sondern auch gleich den Beweis dazu, dass guter Metal auch eine Frage der „Roots“ ist, aus denen die Inspiration fließt. Die Songs stecken voller Power und ungeheurem Spielwitz. Herman Frank steckt mit seinen Kompositionen den Rahmen, in dem er sich zukünftig bewegen wird, genauestens ab. Ohne Umschweife legt die Produktion auf diesem fixierten Kurs ein gnadenloses Tempo vor. Immer nach der Order: keine lauen Kompromisse! Songs wie „Moon II“, „7 Stars“ und „Kill The King“ untermauern diese Einstellung. Vom Doublebass-Gewitter bis zum Achtel-Groove-Metal beinhaltet dieses Album jegliches Genres moderner Gitarrenmusik. Einprägsame Hooks sowie kommerzieller Gesang, aussagekräftige, einprägsame Refrains brennen sich ins Gehirn eines jeden Metallers. Der Song „Heal Me“ zeigt, wie sanft and anspruchsvoll ein versierter Rockveteran mit solchen Themen umgehen kann. Komponiert, produziert und mixed by Herman Frank selbst im eigenen Recording Studio Arena 20 von März bis Juni 2008, enthält die CD „Loyal To None“ eine schöne, geballte Ladung Power für die Metal-Fraktion.

Herman Frank, former guitarist of ACCEPT and co-founder of the internationally, highly acclaimed bands VICTORY and MOON DOC’, herewith fullfills his own dream which reflects the musical territories Frank would like to go in the future. The band is completed by Jiotis Parcharidis (HUMAN FORTRESS / VICTORY, vocals), Peter Pichl (RUNNING WILD, bass) and drummer Stefan Schwarzmann (HELLOWEEN / KROKUS). Frank also in the past made himself a name as producer for bands such as ROSE TATTOO, MOLLY HATCHET, MESSIAHS KISS and SAXON.
