LUCIE BURNS a.k.a HERMIONE is a multi talented singer, songwriter and producer, who has been writing songs since the age of 12, and performing live for over 13 years. She has her own unique style, which includes beautiful heartfelt melodies interwoven with a spoken lyrical flo.
She started out on the drum and bass circuit, touring with FILTHY RICH (Pyro Radio), she also appeared and recorded with ASIAN DUB FOUNDATION, she then progressed to ambient chill out, after being asked to sing over JOSE PADILLAS (Cafe Del Mar ) set. She then went on to co-write and record 2 tracks with AFTERLIFE's Steve Miller, on the successful "Simplicity 2000" album (HED KANDI). Alongside all of this, Lucie was also co-writing, recording and performing with other artists such as BIG AUDIO DYNAMITE, JUST JACK, MJ COLE, ILS, FREQ NASTY and BEN MITCHELL (Jazz FM). Last year year she collaborated with DINO SOFOS on the MOAB album 'AWAKENING'.
Currently Lucie is working on a few different projects. Her latest project is LAZY HAMMOCK, where she produces CHILLOUT/DOWN-TEMPO tracks with beautiful vocals, to take people on a beautiful journey through musical time and space. Her album 'ISLAND LOVER' is available now below, and also on ITUNES. Alongside DJing Lounge/Down-tempo sets under the 'LAZY HAMMOCK' name. She is collaborating with producers ASYMMETRIC, MICHAEL E, ANORGANIK and SUNBURN IN CYRPUS. There are also collaborations in the pipeline with LUMINOUS and LELO. She is also gigging with her soulful,funky band KYOTO MOON, all songs written by Lucie herself. As well as all this, she's teamed up with producer/singer EVA BRANDT, working in a very organic way to produce their sound, which blends trip-hop with acoustic, they call themselves METTA FORCE. 'Hermione' is also featured on a MAT BRADSHAW release called "PUSHIN' on the ARCHANGEL house/dance label. Lucie has also just completed her album 'LOST IN DREAMS' under the LAZY HAMMOCK name. It's an album, for relaxation, meditation and reflection, played on 2 main stages at THE YOGA SHOW, London. So as you can see, this woman has it all going on and is incredibly busy, but the good thing about that, is that you will probably be able to catch her playing somewhere at a venue around town, in one of her many guises.
