Your acoustic songs are great! I really like them a lot! I've always enjoyed your other music as well, but it's nice to be able to hear the words to the entire song! :o) So proud of you guys and everything you have accomplished! Wish I was still up there in that area to come support yall in your shows!
To be here for each and everyone of my friends, if you need someone to talk to, when you feel that everyone else in your life is taking a proverbial shit on you, I will have a few calm words of respect and strength and love, to help you through whatever it was. Not because I want to be superwoman, but because a few good people in the past have given me the advice to make life more worth living, and it would be a damn shame if I didn't return the favor to someone that needed it at the time, even if we don't have a long past together. This is how I like to operate. It's an interesting thing when you level with someone fully and share a new understanding, in yourself and in them, by being real for the sake of being real. It shows you just how equal we all are, in every way, shape and form. I think we are all capable of the good and bad traits we seem from time to time within one another. So we should all act accordingly. And treat each other with the same dignity that we want to be shown.
So today I have been thinking, what I can do to show how I am different than I was in the past, to try to explain the changes I have seen my own soul go through, to honor my friends that have passed on and left this world, to make sure I am ready for each new mountain I will climb?
And I found the answer. It came to me while I wrote that first paragraph. I will make my voice heard. I will stand up for what I believe in, no matter what. I will continue to write until they nail my coffin shut and put me under six feet of dirt. I will not be silent. I will not let anyone treat me as anything less than human. I will not stand by and watch anyone else be treated unfairly either. Test me, go right ahead. I'm ready now, for the future. No matter what anyone has done to me, I will not let them take my pride. I will not let it affect my future. I will spend all of my time improving myself, and whether or not they are left behind is up to fate I suppose. &

Marisol and Gai were on their knees, hands cupped over their ears with tears running down their faces. It was difficult to keep my eyes open, but they revealed something terrifying. The silhouettes on the horizon were moving faster, much faster. They were sprinting towards us with frightening speed. I ran to Marisol and Gai and grabbed them both by the arm—pulling them in the direction of the truck—but Marisol resisted.
I threw a pointed index finger towards the growing horde running towards us and mouthed inaudible words. Finally Marisol saw the figures coming towards us and started running back towards the truck. Rusty was firing shots into sprinting creatures on the other side of the highway before looking back towards us. Looking over my shoulder revealed the shadows were no more than half a minute behind us. The monsters no longer moaned: they screamed.
