Heroes In Headphones has been on the road since 2005 gaining exposure playing every show they can. They are one of the few bands that set out to gain a local state-wide fan-base from playing gig after gig after gig while squeezing in recording whenever they could. After two years, on April 25th 2008, their debut record: "The Light Of Darkness" was finally released, along with all of their merch. to a crowd of around 500 kids in their hometown of Auburn.
The 4 guys from Upstate NY are very unique in their sense of combining the power and intensity of the modern breakthrough bands of today such as Taking Back Sunday, My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy and Jimmy Eat World... but also weaving catchy melodies and radio sensibility like that of Blink 182, Simple Plan and Third Eye Blind into their music, making it likeable to fans of all ages ranging from teenagers to adults alike.
Since their conception, the band has shared ths stage with the signed like of:
QUIETDRIVE, MERCY MERCEDES & HONOR BRIGHT
Right now, the band is taking an indefinite hiatus, but would still sign to a record label. As of now, Ryan ("Vic") is back concentrating on his solo work full time and also plays guitar in the band For Sake Of Forward, Drew ("Drewski") is in the ARMY National Guard, "Mikey P" is concentrating on school again in pursuit of a degree and Mike ("Reg") spent time playing in the band Armoney Suites. They are all still involved in music and you can probably count on hearing from them together once and a while.
