Michael Costantini and Joe Donatelli are Hero Style, a two-man comedy group in Los Angeles. Hero Style is known for its original music, irreverent sketch comedy and for drinking heavily at the bar it brings onstage. Mike and Joe have performed at The Knitting Factory, McCabe's Guitar Shop, Improv Olympic West, Upright Citizens Brigade, Gardner Stages (with The Great Adventure) and Westside Eclectic. They also perform long-form improv as part of the group Pangea and have a podcast called The Second Column you can access at joedonatelli.com.
“Hero Style’s unique and seamless blend of music and comedy, both sketch and improv, is wonderfully entertaining and their energy on stage is intoxicating.” - Marc Campbell, owner, The Westside Eclectic
“Hero Style was fun, original, and engaging, so much so that I was disappointed when the show ended! I can’t wait to see them again.” - Alison Wolk Campbell, cofounder, The Westside Eclectic
“Joe Donatelli possesses a sharp, witty sense of humor that skewers through every piece he writes. Mike Costantini exploits his own innocence on stage, bringing a unique, vulnerable straight man to the guitar and to the stage. They are totally in on their own joke of drinking for charity, which makes their work pop with self-referential brilliance.” - Rasika Mathur, actress
"You guys rocked!” - Josh Meindertsma, The Great Adventure
"You made our job so much easier by getting everyone to laugh with your catchy, witty songs!" - Sebastian Clark, singer, on opening for him
“Hysterical.” – Mark Cuban, Dallas Mavericks owner, on Hero Style's "Save The NBA" video
