Hello, we are Herr Nilsson. We are 8 people doing this happy pop thing. I (terje) write the songs and sing them. Eirik play the guitar, banjo, mandolin or whatever is available. Lars plays the cathy riffs on his guitar. Ragnhild plays the expensive 18th century fiddle, and does some mean things on the keyboard. Morten plays a monstrous Rickenbacker bass quite loud (his email-adress is ricken.backer@hotmail.com haha), Johannes plays cornet, clarinet (if available) and a blue trumpet that he bought from china. Jan Otto bangs the drums. And not to forget: Einar, who plays the drums as well and fills in with his jazzy (or is that rock?) fills.
We are not Pippis monkey, but we think the poor thing would be ok with us borrowing his cool name. Our music is always happy, even when the songs are somewhat sad and the lyrics are somewhat negative or even cruel. If it is summer, or if you want i to be summer, then you should put on one of our records. I guess it..s a kind of soul-music, or rather, that..s what we want it to be. But in the end, we are indie-kids (at least four of us!) and if you like melodic indie-pop-songs with slightly interesting instrumentation, then you..ll probarbly like us.
We released our debut album "I..m No Elvis" on the great indie-label Galant Records in 2005. After that we got our act together and set out to be a good - sometimes great - live band. We kept recording constantly, and released our second LP "Downhill Thrill" in early 2007. This time it was released by Karisma Records. Both Galant and Karisma are idealistic people who loves music, and they are rooted in Bergen, which is our home-town (and we are quite patriotic).
Both of those two records were recorded by the band with Einar Olsson in charge of the production at Elvatun (a youth club in Loddefjord). Later that year we started recording some songs with Yngve Sætre (who had mixed Downhill Thrill), and those recordings turned out to be the Tuesday Is My Birthday EP, released by Karisma Records on May 13 2008.

Da får vi 6 og 1/3 dels gitarister, samme sum trommiser og 3.17 av hver av de resterende instrumentene (med unntak av keyboards og vokaler som kan toppe seg med 15.8) Så hvis en av gitaristene er litt forkjølet, så utgjør det kun 1/3, og vi har seks igjen!
