Do you have a website? Are you proud of it? Live or work in Hertfordshire? If the answer is yes to these three questions, then we want to hear from you.
One of the most innovative projects Archant Herts and Cambs has ever undertaken, the web awards have been designed to celebrate the best of our local world on the web.
We know that there are websites out there worth shouting about and we want to help you showcase what’s working on the web for you.
There are 9 categories in the Herts24 Web Awards in association with Beechwood Homes, the majority of which have been aimed at grass roots levels.
Sponsored by the best in local businesses, the awards event is free to enter.
All entries received will be reviewed and eligible entries will then be sent a voting button and link to place on their website.
The closing date for entries is February 23, 2007 at 10am.
Voting opens on February 23, 2007. From this date voting buttons will become active and sites will also be listed on the Web Awards website to collect votes.
The five websites which have received the most votes from the public by March 16, 2007 will reach the shortlist and be put to our judges on March 23, 2007.
MySpace profiles and simular will be accepted as entries to all categories providing you are 14 years of age or over (MySpaces' minimum age).
