Her Voice Remains’ unique sonic approach captures the essence and raw immediacy of iconoclastic alternative pioneers combined with a contemporary appeal to produce a sound that is simultaneously intuitively recognizable and strikingly original.
Originally formed in 2005, Her Voice Remains is Danielle (vocals), Elias (guitar), Jeffrey P. (bass), and Stefan Veselko (drums). Immediately after its inception, Her Voice Remains rapidly and decisively united in sound, spirit and magic. In the peculiar alchemy of natural bands, Her Voice Remains quickly found their own voice and identity owing very little to the style and overtly-derivative nature of their contemporaries to craft a sound that is, without question, utterly original and compelling.
Subverting conventional notions of modern alternative music, Her Voice Remains has developed an approach that strives to push the boundaries and appeal of the genre. Avoiding entirely the pomp and pretense and style over substance ethos of its ilk, Her Voice Remains has successfully amalgamated the fierce intensity of the past with a sharp nod to the coetaneous.
With a live show that is described as “captivating” and “nothing short of inspiring,” Her Voice Remains quickly ascended from humble performances in proverbial darkened rooms to headlining club dates and providing support to such international acts as Human League, Berlin and English Beat on their national tours.
Her Voice Remains’ latest recording was released in 2007 via OCR Records and has garnered praise from the international print and online media while songs from the album have been played in music venues and radio broadcast world-wide. Her Voice Remains is currently writing and recording songs for their new album entitled “50 Fathoms” scheduled for release in December 2009.
