Genres: Punk, Post-Punk, a bit gothy, a bit shoe-gazey, a bit of glam, a bit dream-poppy, admiration for people who can write classic "pop".

See influences/genres - whilst I don't try and copy any particular style or sound there are bound to be things that come out from what I love and listen to myself.
He's Not My Mate! began in 2001 originally as a covers band although with original material appearing as time progressed, formed by Dale and drummer Simon Render and with various long and short term members continued until Dec 2006 when Andy Fryett , who had been with the band for all but a few weeks of its existence, emigrated with his family to Florida.
HNMM! is now Dale's solo, currently studio-based, project drawing on his years of songwriting and playing, new songs and updating old songs, riffs and styles and recording and hopefully releasing music that has been buzzing round his head since the early 80s.
