i started sewing things when i was just a kid, first learning to embroider, and then sewing clothes for my dolls. i have sewn as a professional seamstress for about twenty years now. i have sewed many things, even hang gliders at one time, and now i sew primarily bridal fashions. i currently work for the bridal salon voletta couture, doing the alterations of high end designer wedding dresses such as vera wang, oscar de la renta and badgley mischka.
i have also been bitten by the belly dance bug...i have been taking lessons for almost three years, and i love it! i have been playing with belly dance wear for the past couple of years, and that has been a very fun creative outlet. (no one tells you at first that you will go broke trying to feed the costume habit!) i am, unfortunately, a much better seamstress than bellydancer! but it is all so much fun, i don't really care! and i get to dress up when it isn't even halloween!
lots of the items in the slide below are available at ottoman trading company in bothell's country village. (see "ottoman trading co" below in friends section, for more information)
i have another blog that i keep up much more than this one, here http://cydhig.blogspot.com/ and it has some of the dresses that i sew and alter for weddings, and also some of the bellydance stuff i have been sewing.
Rise and shine sunshine, I'm checking in on you; I hope all is well... I'm wishing you a beautiful day. :)
I'm looking to do a house party show up there in August.

Hi Cindy how are you? It's been a little so I just wanted to stop by to say hi and let you know that I'm giving away my music for a limited time. It's a promotion to raise money to sponsor orphans at Orphanage Emmanuel in Honduras. It's just a $1 donation. If you don't have a dollar then explore under your couch cushions;) You can keep it $1 or you can change it to more to further support. Anything more will go to pay for the music! This is just my way to make sure that everyone on my page gets my music and it's all for a great cause. Here is your chance to not just wish you could help! Follow these directions and do your part to help give these orphans a second chance at reaching their dreams. Or if you want to mail in the donation let me know and I'll message you the address.

Have you read Ann Rice's (many) vampire novels? I actually met her in Mississippi once when she signed my copy of 'Lasher'. Very interesting lady.
I also enjoy P.N. Elrod's series of stories. His take on the legend is actually a lot like Moonlight's. Hmmm, now that I think about it, it's almost identical. I wonder if Moonlight might be based of Elrod's books?
