Sounds Likeasked who we sound like - hopefully like noone else of course... lol.. u know more than us.. um. - See... what a load of crap but for the moment we can live with that. You tell us who we sound like - message us..

Hey Gravity Slipping Through The Cracks single out 2008

Yes, it's early 2008 and a new HEY GRAVITY! single 'SLIPPING THROUGH THE CRACKS/WAKE UP is set for release.
To coincide with the UK dates at the end of last year we sent preview copies of some of the album tracks to UK radio and tastemakers and got a fantastic response, including being played by Zane Lowe on Radio 1 - Fantastic! He featured us on his fresh meat feature and put us to an audience vote - which we won! Anyway, this prompted the Botchit & Scarper label (home of Atomic Hooligan) to offer to put the single out and now it is scheduled for release in the UK on both download and vinyl.

Add to My Profile | More Videos

HEY GRAVITY! are a two girl/three boy rock and roll song machine out of London, England, fronted by singer/chanteuse JUSTINE BERRY (previously front-person of celebrated garage rockers M.A.S.S.), compared variously to the likes of Chrissie Hynde, Debbie Harry, PJ Harvey, Peaches and other girls with attitude.
The recording of ,the HEY GRAVITY! debut album has been an epic journey but now after two years in the making it is completed with discussions currently underway with labels to licence and release the record.
First onboard has been France and without the help and encouragement of Dad Records (David Rousseau) we would possibly have not been able to complete the album but we have. The original tracks were produced by Jeff Saltzman (The Killers' 'Hot Fuss') and mixed and completed by the Machiatto Kids (Mark Plati and Tom Mckay) in New York. After all this time we couldn't be happier with the results.. we hope you get to hear it too ;-)
The album titled 'RISEN' was released in France to glowing reviews in 2007, we have appeared on one of the biggest French Music TV programmes Taratata and we are now talking to other labels in the UK and US. Bring it on.
“Hey gravity! s’émancipe avec majesté de la masse des groupes rock.”

This band knows what's up. Fearless rock "n" roll with the songwriting sensibility and delivery of a proper ass whipping unit. An inferno - Sunami - force of nature. Hey Gravity are in there with my go to bands as far as listening for pleasure goes. Put Risen in the CD player on a Friday night before you go out and I guarantee your night will not involve a wine bar.
