Hey Pablo! the end?
Hey Pablo! the series was officially cancelled on 11 March 2007, none of the remaining episodes were ever shown on TV. Doctor Mark Laydon returned to his medical routes and dedicated his life to the pursuit of mans knowledge and the expansion of his horizons...he was arrested for playing god but got out after 3 years for good behaviour and a fair amount of bribery, he now works as a dispensary chemist at Knights in Headless Cross. Stuart "Lottie" White went on to form the White foundation for drummers but this closed after a bitter legal race row regarding the inapropriate politically incorrect name and the fact that his logo of some crossed drumsticks on a red circle bore remarkable similarity to a swasticka. Lottie retired from drumming and now teaches love making improval classes to the elderly on the Florida coast. BassDog "Double Jay" rode the tide of success for a short while after the band appearing in several trashy magazines and reality TV shows he suffered a neverous breakdown in 2012 and was last seen begging for change in Morton Stanley Park. Iron-Fan-Defence aka The Mystery Guest was signed up to host a new series of The price is right and lived a realitvely comfortable life till his death in 2025, strangely enough after passing he still continued to appear on television regularly and led to the questioning of the fifth member Omar the Mystic regarding the unlawfull use of voodoo in the tri-state area. Omar still survives today as a cabaret star of fortune in the Webheath underground, if no one else can help, and if you can find them, maybey you can hire the....no, actually you can't. Were resting now...
We hope you enjoyed the ride for the last two years, we know we did...and to go out on a high supporting Electric 6 made it all worthwhile, mind you even Dick Valentine onstage likened our situation to Pet Cemetary and that Hey Pablo! may one day rise again...thanks for all the fun and friendship. We'll still check the page and use it as a portal for any of the guys other projects, which may arise in the future...but untill then, to quote Desmond from Lost...See you in the next life brothers.

Our biography....
"First and foremost Hey Pablo! is all about having fun. With so many "serious" moody bands out there with singers in emotional turmoil, Hey Pablo!'s main goal on stage is to make everyone laugh rather than take themselves too seriously. The band is made up of four very different members, Dr.Laydon on guitar, Lottie on drums, The BassDog "Double J" on Bass and Iron-Fan-Defence aka The Mystery Guest doing voices/sounds.
Songs are a mix of rock, hip-hop, jazz, funk and are performed with a very tongue in cheek feel, with a splattering of comedy/theatrical nonsense thrown in for good measure. All members are Midlands based, young and reckless yet old enough to know better and have very different musical tastes which is reflected in their songs, priding themselves on having a diverse collection of tunes to play."
Entertainment is what it's all about and nothing makes us happier than to send people home with a smile upon their face!
