hey, tiger! was a three piece acoustic punk rock band from portland, OR. well, we might have been a punk rock band. I like to think we were but we really love pop songs and have alot of love in us and the 2 made a deadly combination! we didn't use electricity when we played.
Walt started this whole thing started in alaska in 2001 by himself. Then he moved to south carolina and started playing withtwo friends. It didn't work out so well. He put it on the back burner for awhile until he fell in love love love with brianna and started wanting to play songs again. i'll be back in florence at the end of may. i'm still up in nyc for the time. it's great to visit i think, but it's not for me. i enjoy the idea of being able to load up my truck and go kayaking or ride my bike to the creek. plus, it's so expensive and unstable and high school cliquish up there.
the south is nice. let me know if a visit is ever in the works.
It's Violet's party at The Coop, in honor we made one of the whurst flyers ever - for one of the coolest shows ever:
Check out Three bands : The Rot Aways + The Atomic Butter Babes + Hey, Tiger as well as a bunch of fire dancers and more!
After the movie finishes we're going to be projecting the 1971 oh-so-classic A Clockwork Orange out in the backyard. This is part two of the campover movie series (like the Pyscho Beach Party) so bring a sleepingbag and some smores stuff - all are welcome to spend the night!
