Heart Failure was born in 1999 of an idea of Alessandro C. and Mimmo F. as a brutal death metal band; it was the first band in the sorrounding of Taranto playing that kind of metal. Short after the foundation of the band, Stefano N. joined it as guitarist, while the bassist, after long searching, was found in Michele A.. With this line-up, the band released its first demo cd, “Macabre Disgorgement of Gore”, in 2002, and after a series of live shows, Michele A. left the band due to personal commitments. During the years 2003/2004, HF composed the new tracks for the self-produced full-lenght album “Sempiternal Disgust”, which shows a very different style compared to the demo and is deeply influenced by the American technicized brutal/grind. In 2005, several different problems cause HF to split up. In Autumn 2007, Mimmo F. and Stefano N. decided to put the band together again taking on Enzo P. as bass player and Mimmo M. as vocalist. When the new line-up was formed, the band began to compose new music. In June 2008, right after their first live show together, Mimmo M. left the band due to working commitments, but was soon permanently replaced by Vito L. and Marco S.

Gli Heart Failure nacquero nel 1999 da un' idea di Alessandro C. e Mimmo F. come brutal death metal band; fu la prima band nella zona di Taranto a suonare questo genere di metal. Poco dopo la fondazione della band, Stefano N. aderì come chitarrista, mentre il bassista, dopo lunghe ricerche, fu trovato in Michele A.. Con questa line-up, la band rilasciò il suo primo demo cd, " Macabre Disgorgement of Gore", nel 2002, e dopo una serie di live shows, Michele A. lasciò la band a causa di impegni personali. Durante gli anni 2003/2004, gli HF composero i nuovi brani per l'auto-prodotto full-lenght album "Sempiternal Disgust", che mostra uno stile molto diverso rispetto alla demo ed è profondamente influenzato dal tecnico brutal/grind Americano. Nel 2005, a causa di diversi problemi gli HF si sciolsero. Nell'autunno del 2007, Mimmo F. e Stefano N. decisero di rimettere di nuovo insieme la band reclutando Enzo P. come bassista e Mimmo M. come vocalist. Quando la nuova line-up fu costituita, la band cominciò a comporre nuova musica. Nel giugno 2008, subito dopo il loro primo live show insieme, Mimmo M. lasciò la band a causa di impegni di lavoro, ma fu presto sostituito permanentemente da Vito L. e Marco S.
