This flame signifies my hopes and prayers for our lost Children and for their safe return.
The flame also burns in remembrance of the lives that were taken needlessly.
Who I'd like to meet: One night the Lord came to me (January 2007) and said "I want you to start a organization on missing African American Children. After months of thinking and praying about it I told Him "No".
At Midnight I was awaken to a child crying "Help Me" I literally thought the child was outside my door. I looked for her and then realize, God was having me hear a child crying for help.
That is how Peas In Their Pods was born.

Our Nation is in a state of emergency. Every 40 seconds a child is reported missing in the United States. Of these missing children, under 45 percent are African American children who are being torn from their families. It is crucial that the African American Community in our country become more involved in the safety of these precious children. There are astronomical numbers of abused, missing and murdered African American children that fail to get the needed exposure in the media. Very rarely are their precious little faces posted on milk cartons and bulletin boards, or reported on network and cable news shows.
Our mission is to make the African American communities in our country aware of the plight of these children and to make them a community/national priority.

I woke up with a cold sweat today. The rising in costs. The food for the month. The food for the mouth. starvation is not an option Credit card is not a requirement to eat. Income taxes on food is not an option. I'm trying to find the lowest basket. Economics is a major factor on what we eat ? My food choices on what I can eat. The insufficient with no concern on what I can eat. No members of the family should ever go hungry. If you can just take some sugar from your body Just to add sugar to somebody's Elsies You have just lower your costs on what's to come. Calories is just the lowest part of diet for the body. Let your thousand percent be from your own hand. Your solution will be applied to yourself. We don't need your money. The sandwich would be just fine. Make yourself your own payroll then you shall see. Uncle Sam. will not be able to touch you in every way. Poor people is just a word they made for us To be insufficient, we eat because we are people. Just Remember who your soul belongs too, And we will be Just Fine.
