Hiphop IS Music is a record label owned and operated by Lightheaded member Bryan "Braille" Winchester. The last 10 or more years of Winchester's music career has been very hands on. He's done his own booking, management, promotions, and any other task one could imagine. After soaking it all in, he feels that it's time to pour it out. Using the same "hands on" approach, Hiphop IS Music is now alive and ready to thrive.
Hiphop IS Music is built on 3 primary objectives that fuel the entire movement:
1. We believe that every aspect of the hip hop culture is art. We are representing a roster of talented artists: modern poets, musicians and vocalists with the ability to
communicate in-depth concepts.
2. We believe in being consistent. Our goal for consistency is reflected in the quality of our products, but also in the conduct of our lifestyles. We are setting a high stardard for ourselves with production, rhymes, artwork and integrity.
3. We believe in restoration for the people through Jesus Christ. We battle not with flesh and blood, but with principalities. Therefore, rather than complaining or focusing on problems, we are here to bring solutions. Sometimes the solution can be as simple as making good music for people to vibe with. All in all, we just want to let the music stand for itself.
