This is the website of the World Record Holders for the most Hi5's in one hour...yes it is true...So turns out most of what we planned to do didnt happen in that particular order but we still broke the record and raised £169.63 for Pippys Race For Life

So what is this site for i hear u say?? What is the hi5athon u cry?? Is this a real world record attempt u scream???
the answer to all these questions is not 24...in fact they have different answers which are now going to be answered so do read the next paragraph...
The Hi5athon is a genuine world record attempt that is being organised by 5 brave young men who are taking the time out of uni through the sheer need to get away from the boredom of lectures and coursework...these visionaries go by the names of Huw "Fester" Timbrell, Chris "Friendly Fire" Wharfe, Pete "The Hitman" Spratt, Phil "The Victim" Tonks and Brett "Jacko" Smithers ...
The mission statement is simple...get as many "hi5's" from different people in 24hours as possible (that means we cant do the same person twice)...yes this means staying awake for 24hours...yes this means two and a half very sore hands at the end of the day...yes we have a super sub in the hitman...and yes we are going to be very drunk by the end of the night...
so the format is this...fester and friendly fire will go around hi5ing people....these will all be recorded by 2 camera people and 2 photographers...people will be following us with sheets of paper for people to put their email addresses on... WE WILL NOT BE HAVING A GUINNESS REPRESENTATIVE... we will instead be having 2 judges of stature within the community which will save us upwards of 400...
any more information u need should be gained from reading our lovely blogs which we took a long time to write so would appreciate u reading them and maybe even leaving some comments for us
