About me: Austin, the heart of the Texas hill country, is one of the most lively cities to visit in the southwestern U.S. Whatever your musical preference, you will find rewards in the "Live Music Capital of the World". In Austin, there are dozens of low cost, live music shows every night of the year. In addition to its music and film leadership, Austin is well known as a progressive city that is young at heart, highly educated, and at the cutting edge of high technology. These attributes, placed on Austin's strikingly beautiful landscape, surprise and delight nearly every visitor to the city.

If anyone takes a canoe eastbound, beware of BIRD ISLAND! Just the smell alone... I think that's where the turkey-duck (the PIMP of Austin!) and the swans live. Beware
