Glad you enjoy it. There were a ton of lyrics (I can send them if you'd like) and the vocalist wanted to hold true to the Author's lyrics so he did what he could. When he does the actual songs (which will be very soon!) he might rearrange / rewrite some of the sections to let the music breathe. I think you will really enjoy the new material, it's not your standard fair, that's for sure. Again, glad you enjoy it.

NEW BOOK OUT NOW:
Chthonic - Prose & Theory by Vadge Moore

"Vadge Moore is an American author and musician that has spent a lifetime testing the boundaries of good and evil. He toured and recorded with the infamous sleaze-punk institution The Dwarves, apocalyptic rock group Neither-Neither World, and his own nihilist-noise unit Chthonic Force. He has written for the early nineties occult journal Primal Chaos, the esoteric magazine Dagobert's Revenge, and the controversial web 'zine Synthesis. Recently Vadge has taken up an aphoristic-prose style of writing that best expresses his iniquitous and sinister insights into the mind of Man. Chthonic: Prose & Theory is just that; prose wedded to theory that scrutinizes the human, all too human, Monster that is Man."
"Chthonic: Prose & Theory" is a collection of perverse and violent prose wedded to his own brand of occult esoterica. Peer into the mind of one of America's greatest living libertines.

Thanks for the information. I didn't know that... but I think many more well known bands are in their case...
And about the religiously devoted fans, I'm pretty sure all bands have at least one !

Yes, I think the understanding of the music should come before the ability to play. If you're able to play it but you don't grasp the concept, it kind of defeats the purpose. Let me know.

No problem!

I'm Spanish (Catalan), but I have an Irish branch on my genealogy, that's where my surname comes from.

By the way, I like a lot Beithíoch!! Layered taken to the extreme of the extremes.

Slán!

I read the PCD interview and noticed you said you might need musicians to help play, but not write the music you create. I would definitely like to participate, if ever you need the hand.

The hi.arc.tow music reminded me of most of the neo-dark-ambient school: an evolved take on Lustmord which leans more toward texture than atmosphere (I.E less repetitive meanderings through noise and more use of dynamics, such as adding multiple layers). The distinguishing factor in hi.arc.tow's music seems to be the use of something like... "Pseudo-melody"? The use of actual notes and chords beneath the ringing ambience is what makes it listenable.

Cryosyncopy reminds me of much the same thing, but rather than adding melody like hi.arc.tow, it seem's they'd rather just take the original ideas and ramp up the abrasiveness, almost like an old-school ambient artist got pissed off and decided to get all 'in your face'.

As for Beithíoch... What can I say? It's ambient blackmetal which comes ripping out of a wall of fuzz, like a more melancholic Immortal track run through a Big Muff Pi or something. Kind of reminds me of Darkthrone because of the way it uses percussion (the beat becomes an ambience because of its repetitiveness).
