   About HIBIKILLA

■ 1980年北海道生まれ。
■ 1997年札幌でレゲエDJ Hibikillaとしての活動を開始。
■ 1998年より東京に移住。当時は活動場所が少なかったため、約3年間今はなき池袋Madam Carasにて自らイベントを主催。そこでMickey Rich, Ken-U, Domino Kat, Soldierらに出会う。
その後より音楽に集中するため2001年よりDJに専念。
■ 1999年Bambuらとサウンド「Acrobatic Crew」を結成。いくつかのサウンドクラッシュで優勝するも、後に発展的解散。
■ 2001年横浜Ex Bodegaで開催されたDJクラッシュ「登竜門」にて準優勝。
■ 2004年Dr. Productionより7inchシングル『百烈拳』をリリース。同作はCisco Recordsレゲエチャート1位など複数のチャートで上位を記録し、現在までに３回再発されるアンダーグラウンド・ヒット作となる。
■ 2006年2月Zeebraのアルバム『The New Beginning』に参加。7月にはファーストアルバム『NO PROBLEM』をPONYCANYONよりリリース。同作は「Best Reggae Album in Japan 2006」（『Music Magazine』）、「Riddim Award 2006」（『RIDDIM』）にノミネート。
■ 2007年セカンドアルバム『濃厚民族』をPONYCANYONよりリリース。同作に収録された『Less Than Zero』が薬物中毒・自殺をテーマにした重い内容にも拘らず異例のヒット。同時期にTonto Man, Chop Stickとともに謎のユニット「THC」を結成。さらに同年7～8月にはFM North Wave、Cross FMにてラジオ番組「電波濃厚」のパーソナリティを務め、11月にはラガマフィン草野球チーム「サササ倶楽部」を結成。
■ 2008年「THC」にKenty Grossを加えたユニット「THC㎏」を結成し、謎を深める。さらにプロデューサーとしてミックスCD『SASASA CLUB DUB MIX Vol. 1』を制作。ソロ作品リリースこそなかったものの、コンピレーション盤などで10曲以上を発表。
■2009年1月にはシングル『ヤーマン』をリリース。さらに7月29日には2年ぶり3作目のアルバム『Be Free』を発売予定。
