Thanks to everyone who made Shoutfest a wonderful time for our youth. I had fun, and from what the kids have told me, they did, too! We also had some great discussions afterwards. Please pray that the seeds that were planted there will be watered, and that God will provide the increase!

Just a side-note: Camp Formosa encourages all campers to dress up for evening worship services. This means a few extra clothes if you have room in your suitcase, but if you don't, just make sure you at least pack a clean pair of jeans!

The youth car wash today was a great success! We are so grateful to everyone who came out to support us. And the kids...well, you guys are awesome. I'm so proud of each one of you!
Remember, camp is coming up THIS weekend. We'll need to discuss meeting and departure times, as well as giving a list of all those little things you'll need (such as pillows & blankets, and of course, deodorant!)

Youth Car Wash is this Saturday, May 12 at McDonald's (near K-Mart on Murfreesboro Rd.) Youth participants must be there at 9 AM sharp, armed with buckets and paper towels (sounds like a dangerous crew! Ahem...)
Everyone is invited to come support our carwash, the proceeds of which will be used to send the youth to Camp Formosa in June -- Long live Bob the Armadillo!

Just wanted to say "Thanks" to Vicki Wade, who was here last Sunday to share with our youth group about her ministry in Spain! We had a blast playing our "soccer" game, and of course, the hot dogs were...um...hot. Special kudos to Davina, who made the yummy chili, and "mil gracias" once more to Vicki for giving of her time and talents to bless our church.
Thanks for praying for Ashley, my cousin. She is doing great! In every medical sense, she couldn't have survived, and yet she's alive, she's at home, and she's planning to go back to work next week! It's awesome to see how God does miracles, even in the 21st century!
