The Hicktown Homeboys are a California based acoustic band devoted to traditional country music from the 30's through the 60's, with a few folksongs and bluegrass as well. Low volume, familiar but uncommonly played songs, and high -level musicianship, spotlighting the Spectacular Singing and Guitar Playing of Vocal Powerhouse Eric Cornforth, accompanied by Tom Etheridge on Mandolin With Friends.......(Northern California shows) Lee Rider on Dobro and steel guitar......(Southern Cal shows) Jim Eaton on Dobro...Chad Watson on Bass....in the videos, the steel player is Marty Lepore from Seattle; on bass is Tammy Nolte). Eric has dazzled audiences in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland and the National Old Time Fiddle Contest in Weiser, Idaho...The Hicktown Homeboys serve up 3 hours of authentic all-acoustic good old country songs.
