The band was founded over 15 years ago by Atlanta music scene veterans Dennis Adams (guitar and bass) and Wayne Hardie (drums and keyboards). Wayne had been in various bands prior to this point including the Elrod Stash Band, Hot Pursuit, Pandora (with Dennis), Jody Morgan Band, The Tone Poets, Face Value (with Dennis), and Gild The Lily (with Dennis). Around that time, Dennis and Wayne went in the studio and recorded some of the songs that would eventually become Hidden Agenda staples. Meanwhile, Wayne met Rob Kimbrough (bass) through a mutual friend (Carl Heiney) in another project called Rulicus Maximus. Rob had spent most of his time jamming with friends, occasionally playing with the Deadwoods and working in his studio. Rob and Wayne played in Rulicus Maximus until the project went south. At this point, Wayne and Rob got together with Dennis to form the beginnings of what would eventually lead to the three piece band you know today. Then, luckily for Hidden Agenda, Dennis brought his 16 year old son, Geoff Adams, over to jam one day. Once he started playing, the members of the newly formed Hidden Agenda (or HA2) knew Geoff had to stay. At 16, Geoff was already a gifted guitarist and added a fresh new flavor to the band and added a plethora of new songs. In fact, if you live in Atlanta and are involved in the music scene at all, you probably know Geoff. He is one of the hardest working musicians in Atlanta playing guitar or bass or drums in as many as 4 bands at a time. He has played with Unmarked, Hognutt, Sir Mizer, and Threat 13 and currently plays in Traitor and End Rezult in addition to Hidden Agenda. Hidden Agenda has played the Atlanta music scene for years now and has forgotten more songs than most bands have in their set list. We have recorded 3 CDs over the years (our latest "Let It Be Known" was recorded at LedBelly Sound Studio by Matt Washburn) and played many gigs and parties. We will be celebrating our 10th year as a band this year and we are looking forward to rocking Atlanta and the world for the next 10 years. Stay tuned... | | Type of Label | Major |
