Hidden Soul is an original rock band from Northeast PA, looking to take its music on the road. The band has been playing together for over 3 years, with both local and national artists. In the bands early years they played many tightly packed shows in northeast PA and traveled along the east coast as far as their van and their wallets would take them. Gaining attention from local radio stations (95.1 WZZO, 97.9 X and 90.3 WXLV) the band knew they needed some fresh material. The guys recorded a 5 song EP (Found) and a full-length record (A Crack in the Shell) while in rural PA, and then decided to take the band one step further by relocating in 2008. Hidden Soul spent some time in Boston where they worked with producer Matthew Ellard, and in late 2008 will debut new music from their 4-song EP (Refined). Already stocked with an arsenal of songs, every audience can expect an exciting and new experience. The bands style is incomparable, and the sound is everything from rock and roll to groove and soul. Hidden Soul taps the root of emotion and expresses it in four-piece rock fashion, putting every member in the spotlight. The show is a huge, passionate display of dynamic moods, appreciated by diverse crowds. Hidden Soul is back in the Lehigh Valley to write new music, play some intimate shows and share the new tunes. The band will be living together in whatever conditions are presented, constantly looking for inspiration. With plans of creating music for the rest of their lives, the guys look to inspire everyone they meet with their universal sound and attitudes.
