Hide-A-Way Lodge is a group rental facility situated on 12 acres of land,
adjoining thousands of acres of state land. Within just a few hundred
feet from our property is access to the State Groomed Snowmobile Trail
System of Northern Lower Michigan, offering hundreds of miles of riding
and hiking enjoyment.

We feature two rental
facilities, an 8 bedroom lodge that sleeps 36 people and a 4 bedroom lodge
that sleeps 18 people. Each lodge has full kitchen accommodations, a
large recreation room with bar and pool table and plenty of seating for
meals and gatherings, as well as a furnished sitting area with television
with Direct TV satellite service.

There are many things that
make our lodge the perfect place for your group to stay. First, we
are a group designed facility, so everyone can cook, sleep, eat, and
gather in the same place under one roof, enjoying your own privacy.
Not many places around offer that sort of comfort and convenience.
Second - LOCATION. Hide-A-Way Lodge is located just two miles south
of downtown Indian River, Michigan, which is in the heart of Northern
Lower Michigan. Within 20 miles in any direction you get the best of
what Northern Michigan has to offer including shopping, downhill skiing,
entertainment, casino action....all sorts of great things to see and do!
We are just 30 miles south of the world famous Mackinaw Bridge and
Mackinac Island, so if it's a trip back in time you are looking for, there
is no better place around! And right here in Indian River if you
love the winter months, our property adjoins the state snowmobile trails
for hundreds of miles of riding fun, as well as cross country ski trails.
And the summer months in Indian River offer some of the best water
recreation around, having both Burt and Mullett Lakes and the Indian and
Sturgeon River for tubing, canoeing, kayaking, swimming, or whatever your
heart desires under the summer sun! Also, there is SO MUCH MORE to
Northern Michigan to experience if you like hiking, fishing, and the
thrill of the many, many golf courses around the 30 mile area surrounding
the lodges. So come on up to Indian River and stay at our place!
