About me: Hideous Gomphidius are David and Anna, a cabaret duo based in London, who perform, amongst other things, the music of Tom Lehrer, Jacques Brel, Edith Piaf, Kander and Ebb, Stephen Sondheim, Kurt Weill and numerous jazz standards (SING ALONG IF YOU MUST!).
Mostly it's just a stream of consciousness with a bunch of camp comedy showtunes (Avenue Q, Spamalot...you get the idea)
We are motivated by the desire to candidly communicate our darkest desires and highest hopes with an audience who can recognise themselves in our experiences.

OTHER WORK INCLUDES: Work for Queens Company, Ars Floreat Amsterdam Baroque Consort, Mayfield Chamber Opera, Vox Animae, the BBC Symphony Chorus and Edinburgh Festival Chorus. English Chamber Orchestra, Imperial Opera, Warner Brothers and Interceptor Records. He is perhaps best known as a featured soloist with Gregorian for Edel Records, having recently promoted the number one selling albums, Masters of Chant and Chapter II, throughout Europe. David can also now be heard on the soundtrack to The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy - So Long and Thanks for all the Fish.

Hey there my little UK flower! I've been so uber busy (then again, aren't we all??). The fab thing is I have been seeing a very nice (and bossy) guy. We've been seeing each other since January exclusively but until I hit the 6 month mark, don't go all gooey and say I'm "in a relationship" like most guys out there! LOL
Otherwise, busybusybusy with work (thank goodness I have a job) and will be off to Washington in a week or so.
