The webzine features news reports, reviews, interviews and gig listings, as well as more in-depth investigations into our favourite labels, musicians and events. The writing crew have a wealth of experience gained through years in journalism, promotion, club nights, management and radio broadcasting, and are eager to provide the most incisive and trustworthy opinion on the net.
We cover all conceivable types of extreme metal, but do not shy away from other related genres; be it ambient, noise or some other avant-garde style, if we like it, we will cover it.
A lot of zines tend to rely largely on their content being Googled to bring in random readers, but we intend promoting the hell out of it, so that any bands or artists featured can be sure of some decent exposure. Nor are we going to insist that small labels and struggling bands send us an expensive promo package. We are quite happy to listen to you digitally. We want to support the music we love, and we want as many people as possible to share it with us.
The purpose of this Myspace profile is to keep our friends and contacts up to date with all that is going on at Hierophant Nox, as well as to provide bands, labels, promoters and fans with a further contact point from which to seek information from our editorial team.
