About High Acetate

High Acetate are a three piece alternative rock group from Essex, they are currently looking for a VOCALIST to complete the line-up. Currently armed with three recordings (Thanks to Marc Fargeot and everyone at A.T Music Group in Rettendon) and various live recordings we have done ourselves, the band are actively looking for the right person to fill the vacant slot. Our main musical influences are focused around British bands such as Reuben, Fightstar, Funeral For A Friend, Biffy Clyro, My Vitriol and InME.

Ad Alta	Feb 4 2009 4:10 PM hey guys, just droppin by to see how the search is going. who's the vocalist in the new demo mixes? there's a hint of reuben in the style, which is definitely not a bad thing, though there's some definite timing/pitching issues - strictly ken is sounding pretty cool though, the screamo works pretty well, particularly at the intro to bring it in :]

Yeah we're getting our work through agencies at the moment, that seems like the easiest place to get work..and probably the best at the moment as everyone else is making people redudant and with temp you know its only temp and if you don't like it its no problem lol. I might be working at GAP in the next couple of months so I'll see how that goes too :) only 24 hour contract..but its better than a kick in the balls aint it lol..

Just try and make loads of good songs, and then see how it goes from there really..then at least if we don't find anyone else to make it into a proper band at least we have some songs we can say that are ours really..we just really miss having a band and making moosic really..we'll see how it goes, we'll get there eventually :) just might take a bit of time.. Where you working now mate?

Me and Nasser have been working together alot recently, we were trolley wollys for a bit lol wasnt that bad, and not bad money either. We wouldn't have done it if it was just one of us but cause it was both of us it wasn't too bad lol. And this week we've been calling mental patients and doing phone surveys on them lol. So not much really that interesting, but pocketed a bit of money to help pay for car (all my bastard money goes on the car!) lol. I'm sure you'll find a goodun this year mate! :)
