In this era of uncertainty, The Highclass Hobo Society can bring a little sanity into everyone's life. they bring to your ears everything from honkey tonk blues to bluegrass, and even a touch of hip hop! Composed of four songwriters, the hobo's goal is to impart the woes, joys, and wisdom of the hobo life unto the masses. Some of the songs make you feel like you're sitting on the back porch in the south, while others have all the rage of a full on rock show. Humor, biting irony, and trajedy are all interspliced in just the right way to remind you why it was you ever went out and saw live music in the first place.
Influenced by the likes of Dylan and the Dead, (grateful and Kennedys), Tom Waites, Sublime, and, The hobos began hitting the Arcata music scene in late 2007. They have been seen at Mosgo's, Redwood Yogurt, the Boiler Room, Rogers Market, Clam Beach Inn, 3 foods Cafe, Fieldbrook market, or sometimes on the streets of Arcata just gettin' down with their hobo roots. All hobos in this band are singing hobos with both leads and backup, but they also know their way around an instrument or two. there's Jesta with his flailing banjo style, Chris Robin on the Guit'r, Sierra A.K.A Washington on fiddle. Since they are all travelers and vagabonds at heart, The band is itchin' to hit the road and book more gigs both near and far. Boasting their own P.A, they are ready to handle any sound situation that comes their way, and bring smiles to the faces of people like you! :)

Hey Jesta, How you doin', How you been? Here's a little piece of your soul I still have with me. If your ever coming our way I'd love to see you. -Olive
Hey Jesta-Man. No banjo (er steel Lap guitar) makes Corvallis a dull town. Have you decided to make the CA-OR switch yet?! We are headed east for a sec in March, be back on the 16th. Let us know if you want to hitch a ride for the Dead at the Gorge :)
I just opened my mailbox and I had 47 messages. Isn't it weird that you were the first and only person I thought of to tell all about it. Lovin You Hobos
