About High Country Chorus

High Country Chorus took third in the 2006 Harmony Classic compeittion- the "International" competition for mid-sized choruses! 70% of Sweet Adeline's choruses are small or mid-sized so this is an accomplishment of which we are extremely proud! We are a part of Sweet Adelines International a world-wide organization of women singers committed to advancing the musical artform of barbershop harmony through education and performance. Barbershop is 4 part acapella harmony and is an "American" artform. Choruses and quartets around the world sing barbershop but if they compete, their arrangements must be in English. (Those are the current rules!) High Country welcomes guests every Tuesday night at the Holy Cross Lutheran church near 52nd and Wadsworth in Wheatridge, Colorado.
