Wild About Chocolate Saturday, February 14, 7-10pm Wild About Chocolate is the annual Valentine Gala benefiting the Alabama Wildlife Center. The event features chocolate desserts from at least 15 of Birmingham's best restaurants, bakeries and caterers. Higher Ground's coffee will also be featured, so come by for coffee and dessert and bid on silent auction items and participate in a raffle.

Higher Ground Roasters is mentioned as a shade grown company, and in fact, all our beans are shade grown-- none are grown from clear-cutting or conventional methods.

This is a great site for anyone intersted in sustainable coffee, specialty coffee, or the processes behind it all.
