Higher Learning started as an idea in young Miles Mulkey's head, way back in like 1999, when him and the original members began rapping and recording tracks on casette tape...They desired to touch people with a higher understanding of the way this world works...to be smarter, and to pioneer new ideas and to break free from the shackles of conformity...MAny different people were influenced by these "Higher Learning cats", and many were touched along the way...The songs on this page are just merely the tip of the iceberg from the chronicles of recordings that were on tape and lost through the years...Higher Learning Volume 1 started it all, and I would pay any amount of money to get these old tracks back...so as a whole, Higher Learning transformed from a group of rebellious surfer kids pissed at the government, into more of a posse, and ultimately an idea that there is more knowledge out there to be gained...the world is yours...Unfortunately, one of the founding fathers, Chandon Lee McGrath aka Boundless, passed away several months ago, so from here on out we will represent his name....
