The band "Higher By Nature" has been making music together
virtually their entire lives. They are the Richter
brothers, Omar, Rocco and Sam. They currently hail from
Annapolis, Maryland. They are all in their twenties.
Musical talent runs strong in their family. Their
Grandfather Ray Richter had a band in the 1940's and 50's.
Their parents are also talented musicians and singers. The
group's latest CD, "Sonic Rainbow" was released in October
of 2007. The name of the group comes from their belief that
people of all ages can be naturally "higher", that is, more
at peace and happier human beings. Their music reflects
this in the meaningful lyrics and beautiful rhythms. Sam is on bass, Omar does vocals and keyboard and Rocco plays drums and does vocals as well. They call their musical style "Eclectic Fusion Rock" They truly put their
whole selves into their performances, and their music is
enjoyed by youth and elders alike. The band welcomes email
