We are a Christian Country band/ministry based in East Texas. We present the gospel
through the word and our music which is heavily influenced by western-swing, gospel and country. For many years, we played the honkytonks and club circuit here in East Texas and were pursuing the dream of every musician and artist to "make it big and be famous". Now we are pursuing God in our ministry and our only goal is to make HIM famous.
After being apart for several years, circumstances brought us back together as a group again and with a new purpose--to use the talents God has blessed us with to bring Him honor and glory. As a group, He has given us a higher calling and put this ministry on a higher path--a HIGHER TRAIL, we like to say.
We have had the blessed opportunity to lead worship services all over the East Texas area the past few years and are committed to go wherever the Lord will open doors for us. Amazing things are happening in this ministry God has given us and we are excited about the present and the future! Our first CD "Legacy" is available now and it is full of newly-arranged favorite hymns and original music that we pray will bless you and your family for years to come.
We are currently in the studio working on our next CD project and hope to have it ready by mid-year 2008.

Awesome music TGIF is awesome. I remember my grandmother would tell me at Dallas Holmes singing rise again. I lived in Weatherford Tx for 3 months and it was to hard to stay financially. The Lord wanted me to minister to cowboys but I never could get much going. I encourage you guys to keep singing and doing what he has called you to do. God Bless Ya! Brad

Dearest Higher Trails Band: I welcome you to My Space site and to my ever-growing roll of musical friends.I have been listening rather sharp to the songs you have displayed and I like the whole lot, however, " Legacy" and "Rise again" if I were to pick out just two as stand-outs.
