Born on 20th February 1985. He discoivered he was good at singing after his mum commented on it while she was bathing him. He was 19. Tom a.k.a. Tin Tin loves the theatre and has seen Rent at least 16 times, his lifelong ambition is to perform as Mr Mistoffelees in the musical Cats.
Ant - Guitar
Born on 3rd April 1985. Ant spends more money in a month perming his hair than the average person spends on food. He blew an entire inheritance on a guitar and amp...and a helium spaceship...and a stereo...and many other things in the space of a month. He currently resides in his helium spaceship hovering somewhere above Bognor Regis.
Corky - Drums
The oldest memberof the band, born 7th March 1983, Corky underwent a sex change 10 years ago after realising womens clothes were more expensive than mens. This has also saved him money on grooming and beauty products. The downside to this is that he is regularly abducted by aliens as they mistake him for a hillbilly who has lost his way. Often he finds himself in the middle of nowhere in the deep south of the U.S. naked and covered in Hersheys. Chocolate Syrup.
Stuart - Guitar
Born 7th February 1984, Stuart is the newest member of the band, even though he was with us before. Stuart has been away with the French Foriegn Legion on a top secret assignment for a long time and has only just returned to us. So don't get him angry or he will kill you with his little finger.

High Frequency is a punk rock band from Maidstone, England. Founded in 2003 and practicing mainly in the back room of Earl's Pub before moving to Matt's basement for it's most creative burst until eventually taking up residence in the back room of The Style and Winch Pub. Since 2005 the band has been on hiatus, but thanks to a couple of reunion jam sessions they have decided to rejoin and have recently started playing shows to old fans and new alike and are being recieved well.
The band has had a revolving door system with members over the years swelling from a 3 piece to a 6 piece. Corky and Ant are the founding members with Tom joining shortly after meeting Corky at Reading Festival in 2003 and drunkenly mentioning he'd always wanted to sing in a band. As of October 2009 Stuart has re-joined the band on guitar...so we're back to a 4 piece again, like I said we might be!
We've had a brilliant first year back in the saddle again and are writing new material all the time. So look out and lock up your daughters/mums/grandmothers/dogs/cats/whatever 'cause we're back and probably heading for a venue near you very soon!
If you're a promoter or a band looking to fill a slot at a show drop us a message here or send one to our e-mail address: highfrequency@live.co.uk
I think having two guitarists generally gives a band more depth, even if the two guitarists are playing the same thing, makes that particular guitar part louder and sounding broader. Got any shows lined up in the weeks before Christmas?
Hey guys, apparently we're playing with (or against!) you at The Wharf on the 7th December to get to the finals of their Battle Of The Bands - as well as the gig at Dusk Till Dawn later that month!
We've had to cancel the Dusk til Dawn gig - our drummer and bassist left and we still haven't replaced them. So yeah, sorry you won't be seeing us that night :-(
I listened to the recordings on YouTube - I'm quite impressed, I see what you mean about stage presence, I think your guitarist helps by being about 8 feet tall ;) I also noticed you had a second guitarist - I thought you guys were only a three piece? Or are ou expanding?
I haven't seen you at a show yet, only know of you guys just through adding various local bands/artists, I had you added to my band's MySpace but couldn't remember the URL, hence I googled. To be honest I haven't had a great amount of free time due to work and lack of money - never good!
I think all bands should have at least one soft song - if anything it gives people in the mosh pit a bit of a breather. My sound is basically almost clean but with a slight gain, I like to use the dynamics of my amp and guitar to play harder stuff as opposed to using out and out distortion :)
Hi, please raise awareness of hiv/aids by making a video on your mobile phone! Win an awesome night out for two to a star-studded show hosted by Alicia Keys.
I'd say I'm probably indie/soft rock, though my songs can be performed with a full band or acoustically on my own. It's a slightly different take on the normal singer/songwriter thing, as I'll predominantly be using an electric guitar for the songs.
It's just finding the time to record these songs now but everything's looking good, songs have gone down well with mates, which is a good start.
I need to hear more of your stuff, if I can purchase/have some then that would be great :)
That's awesome :) I remember googling you guys to find your MySpace and one website called you 'the funniest band in Maidstone' - can't remember which site though. You guys appear to be getting a very good reputation :)
Well done on getting signed :) does that mean you'll be recording/releasing soon? Hope everything works out on that front!
You know I like your stuff because my band is added to your profile :) will be gigging as soon as I can, only started the solo project this weekend :)
How's it going?
x
