Guido Cavana was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina on August 27, 1987. Since he was a boy, he was influenced by punk rock and reggae. He began playing guitar at twelve years old and was quickly influenced by his professor Damian. His early experiences in musical composition were in punk rock bands. In 2004, seeking for more electronic sounds, he has dedicated exclusively to the composition of electronic music in software, specifically Trance and Goa Trance. His most direct influences are Depeche Mode, Smashing Pumpkins, Sander Van Doorn, Armin van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, The Prodigy, and so on. He now lives in Quilmes, Buenos Aires and studies Social Communication at the University of Salvador.
Julian Garcia was born on June 8, 1988 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He started drum classes when he was barely 7 years old. Starting his adolescence, he began to take an interest in other instruments, learning to play guitar, keyboard and bass. When he was 12, he started hearing electronic music by groups like And One, Nitzer Ebb, Front 242 and Melotron. Later, he expand his knowledge about this style of music, listening to artists like Tiesto, Paul Van Dyk, Armin van Buuren, Paul Oakenfold. The year 2005 saw its first productions of electronic music in software, and in late 2006 he began to inspect the world of Djs, buying their own equipment and learning how to mix. In his short but fruitful career has shared the booth with DJs like Carlos Ruiz, Agustin Servente, Matias Faint, Leonardo Tou, Roi Sterdam, Heatbeat, Franky 4 Fingers, Gaston G, among others. His style round between the Progressive, Melodic and uplifting Trance.
Julian and Guido met during his teenage years, more than 6 years ago. Today they came together with the same ideal: conform a duo of electronic music production. This new project is called High Frequenzy, and they have in mind to create music from a very open mind, always within the genre trance, but reflect on their tracks sounds of other genres like Techno or Trance Goa. They shared booth with artists like Heatbeat, Dario EF, Marcelo Fratini, and many more well known Djs from Argentina.
