"I was warned when I got this to review that I would like it, which I hate because you never know what the fuck your really gunna feel about stuff till you hear. Initially, I was into the sound but a bit disappointed when I wasn't freaking out over the songs. These Canadian youngsters put out a solid effort on the always luv'ly xTRUEx Records from Edmonton, Alberta. We're not breaking any new ground here but these dudes keep a good pace and have great mid-tempo breakdowns. HIGH JINKS is nothing to write home about. Their lyrics pertain mostly to various forms of submission and misunderstanding, yet do earn extra points for song titles like "Heaven's All Hype" and "Schindler's Fist.""
