Highland Fire Fest brings the best bands that this island has together in one second floor venue in the heart of Scotland. Not only is this another FolkmetalUK festival/gig but it is a get-together and unification for all those like-minded people. A Chance to rejoice with generations that have come before, to be happy with the knowledge that those around you feel the same.
Luckily, HFF is the same year as "Homecoming Scotland", a time where scotland urges everyone to come visit scotland, especially thouse of scottish descent. Let us raise our pints in honour of this occasion! and long may it last! PLEASE NOTE THAT BECAUSE OF LICENSING LAWS IN THE PUB THIS MUST BE OVER 18S ONLY!!!!

I know it's like 10 bloody months away, but I cannae wait for next year's! Would there be any possibility of seeing if Wodensthrone or Askival would play a set? Are you taking requests for next year? What about Sabbat?

Solid Rock seems your best bet BUT should also try: 'Rufus T Firefly', '13th Note', 'Stereo' and may aswell ask 'Ivory Blacks', 'Classic Grand' and 'The Cathouse' if they would put some posters up for it as those are the usual places that put on folk metal gigs both local and signed.
Found out about this through my mates in Alba Gu Brath but will spread the word over here. A good crowd makes for a great gig
