About Highland Hustlers

Highland Hustlers is Scotlands only record label dedicated to high quality bootlegs of some of the biggest tunes in Hip Hop R&B and Dancehall. The label launched back in 2003 and from the outset had DJs and clubbers alike jumping at these exclusive cuts. The first release Scam 1 was a wicked re working of the Blue Cantrell classic Hit Em Up Style which was a huge success all over the world and to this day still gets a huge response on the dance floor. The B side to the first release saw Missy Elliot Feat Ludicrous One Minute Man get the Drum & Bass re lick again this tune was played by many DJs across the world and is a firm favorite with the Hip Hop headz. The follow up release Scam 2 saw Reggae maestro Sean Pauls Infiltrate mashed up into a Drum & Bass style & fashion featuring heavily in many tops DJs sets throughout the land. The flip on this touched on more of a Brazillian flavour with a remix of the massive Mas Que Nada. Stepping up next Scam 3 delivered another Dancehall classic in the form of Beenie Man & Cheval Franklins huge hit Dancehall Queen. This tune again proved hugely popular with many top DJ's and to date is the most successful release on the label selling in excess of 3000 copies. Backing up this was a killer version of the Hip Hop giants Public Enemy Bring The Noize. This is an all time classic track and was give the justice it so rightly deserves with a Drum & Bass remix. After a long wait Scam 4 is on it's way. When we heard Sam Saprrows Black & Gold we instantly knew that it was a tune that needed the Hustlers treatment. This will be the first time we have released a 12 with two different mixes of the same track and why not! The A Side has been reworked in the Body Rock / Timewarp style which works extremely well and is already causing a major storm in the DNB scene. The B Side has a much harder edge and sounds not unlike Machette. By far the most high profile tune we have sleceted but we pride the label on releasing nothing but the best for the dancefloor.
