I was heavily influenced by the classic black and white
movies of the thirties and forties, as well as the
b-movies of the early 20th century. This was also coupled
with a love for the horror movies of the seventies and
eighties. As I became a filmmaker, I found myself
constructing my movies with mixtures of these three
influences.
