"May there always be work for your hands to do, may your purse always hold a coin or two. May the sun always shine on your windowpane, may a rainbow be certain to follow each rain. May the hand of a friend always be near you, may God fill your heart with gladness to cheer you." - Irish Blessing

Poem 2 of 230, WalkaboutsVerse (please see my blog): WALKABOUT WITH MY PEN
Once drove an old sedan, up north, From a place in Sydney to Cairns; Then to Kuranda I went forth, By train, to look without set plans.
I browsed through the trendy market, With fresh fruits of tropical kind; Walked to the creek through lush thicket - Nature’s hand giving peace of mind.
I dined in a scenic cafe; Then, outside, as I wrote for yen, Some passing Kooris called-out: “Hey, You go walkabout with your pen.”
Request or question, I don’t know - Assured voices, elderly men. That’s now several years ago, And I’ve seen the world - with my pen.
Only 17 days till TWIG ! ! My Son wanted me to ask everyone I can, if they know the words to The Dead Farie Song. So here i am, asking. Also, I am looking for a Bass Guitar Instructor. I pay around $15.00 per 45 min. for a Guitar teacher for my Son. I live in the NW suburbs of Minneapolis, around Anoka. PLEASE ! if you are a Bass Player and need a little extra $.$$ or know someone who might. Please get in touch with me vie Myspace. Thank You for your time.
Well, it's good to know that you still have the kilt. I will admit to being one of several of the girls at the event who were sad to see you in pants. :D I guess that's why we love our men -- real men wear kilts! And of course look dang good while doing so. :)
I was sorry to hear that you lost your kilt. Have you found it yet? I didn't really get to hear too much music yesterday -- it was just a bit too cold for me, so the hubby and I left early. Oh well. Thanks for coming to the shindig again! It's always good to hear you guys!
