A great rock band provides not just music, but an experience. An experience which will get your heart pumping and provide a huge smile from ear to ear. An experience that raises the bar for live entertainment to a new, higher line. That is Highline.
Based in upstate New York, Highline is bringing back the stage show of the 80's, with big light displays, high-energy vocals, screaming guitars, thumping bass and drums, and plenty of crowd-friendly favorite songs.
If you haven't seen this band yet, dust off your air guitar and get ready to rock!
Just wanted
to let you know how we did with the ride on Sunday. Although we had an
all day on and off again rain showers that kept the expected numbers
down. We did have 35 loyal riders who did show up and braved the
weather. I am disappointed in the numbers but proud of the riders and
all who helped put this all together. We did our best with what mother
nature handed us. I also would like to thank the band HIGHLINE who not
only gave their time to the cause but made a cash donation. I also want
to thank the Post 80 American legion riders who showed up with a nice
group riders and a check for the LUPUS FOUNDATION OF NEPA. I also want
to give a big thank you to our bartenders who donated their time to
help with the fight to educate the public about LUPUS. Susan would have been so proud of all of you...... MARK
Fun show at the Summit last night! Thanks, guys, for letting me sit in on a couple tunes. Really enjoyed it. (I guess you got the McIntyres off to a rocking start!)
We are in need of a band or bands who is willing to donate a few hours to play at our LUPUS Awareness " RIDE FOR SUSAN" on Sunday July 26th. We are promoting public knowledge of LUPUS and are supporting the Lupus Foundation of Northeast PA. Susan was a professional musician who has played with the Moody Blues...Tony Bennett... Olivia Newton John and many many more.
On March 11th, 2008 I lost the love of my life After a courageous 25 year battle with LUPUS.... LUPUS finally won. Susan was the most amazing person I have ever had the honor to know. She faced everyday with with a determination and belief that LUPUS was not going to beat her. It didn't matter that everyday she was in great pain. Her love of life and cheerful attitude lifted the spirits of everyone who knew her.
