When your parents name you Miles, the bar is automatically set extremely high. So it stands to reason that Miles D. McConnell Miles D. is the creative impetus behind Highline Productions.
Born August 1988, in Denver Colorado Miles D. received his early musical training on bass guitar under the tutelage of the lead bassist for the Denver Symphony Orchestra. His beats are a blend of the complexity of Coltrane, and the simplicity of Miles Davis, with just enough of 60s Motown, and 70s Funkadelic to keep the contemporary urban feeling honest.
The result is a sound that delivers truth, and a refreshing celebration of lifes contradictions and global harmonies.
