Howdy pardner! Welcome to the Lone Star state! Word around these parts is that you are looking for beats the size of Texas?!!! Well then, you've moseyed into the right waterin' hole. Pull up stool, rest your bones, and let's chat over some of this here fine moonshine our momma made. God bless her soul! She has a wooden leg, is dumb as a stump, and has the hairiest back this side of the Mexican border, but we still love her none the less!
Now folks around these here parts refer to us as "High Maintenance" but you can call us Bubba & Earl if ya' like. If we happen to look a tad bit familiar, I reckon it's because you've seen our likenesses on all those "Most Wanted" posters around town. Now don't let that go foolin' ya' into thinking we are a nefarious bunch. Far from it. We've never once killed or maimed anyone, but we are guilty of murderin' a few dancefloors here and there. That's no reason to label us as outlaws though is it?!!! We just like havin' a good time and if strippin' down to nothing but a pair of buttless chaps and dosey doyin' across the bar at the local saloon on a Saturday night is wrong, we sure don't wanna be right!
The truth is, we're really simple folk. Just good law abidin' citizens. It wasn't always that way though. There was a time when good fortune frowned upon us and we were forced to rob stagecoaches and steal cattle to survive, but that was before we discovered the saving grace of funky house music! The funk showed us the way and set us on the straight and narrow! Now we lead a life of righteousness and want nothing more than to spread the gospel of funky house music! Can we get an amen brotha! Hallelujah!
Some people say all great oaks start as small acorns, and you my friend are looking at two nutty fellars right here. We may be small potatoes right now, but we got big things a brewin'! No, not more of mommas moonshine! Beats! And lots of em' too! We're headed for the big time!!!
In the meantime, stick around, kick off yer boots, and make yourself at home! We're gonna saddle up on the wheels of steel and drop you some of those funky beats! When we look up, you best be cuttin' a rug!

With all the sadness and trauma going on in the world at the moment, it is worth reflecting on the death of a very important person, which almost went unnoticed last week. Larry LaPrise, the man who wrote "The Hokey Pokey", died peacefully at age 93. The most traumatic part for his family was getting him into the coffin. They put his left leg in. And then the trouble started.
