John Prine and Iris DeMent singing "In Spite of Ourselves" live on Sessions at West 54th. I LOVE Iris DeMents voice. I can listen to her sing for hours. John Prine is great too, I saw him in concert once, and it almost made me cry, it was so good.
Who I'd like to meet: People I knew in college or high school or met on the street or at concerts or at that store one time.
I would love to meet Tom Scharpling or Mick Foley, preferably together so I can watch them wrestle. It would also rule to meet Matt Pike and Joe Preston, or George Rice so I can ask him why he quit High On Fire. I'd like to meet Jared from Karp, The Whip and Big Business so I can ask him how he can be in so many bands that rock.
How much would it rock to meet Enos Strate from The Dukes of Hazzard the TV show? Oh wait I have already met him back in 1980. That's right I'm old school, and yes it does rock.
It'd be cool the meet either Jimmy Martin or Russ Meyer, because they're both no longer living, so to meet one of them now; it would be extra special.
