There isn't an accurate way to describe High Street. We have a unique sound - we use tight harmonies and impeccable blend to create some really great a cappella music.
High Street A Cappella was a contemporary men's octet based in Columbus, Ohio that performed a wide repertoire ranging from Baroque, classical, and contemporary choral music to rock, pop, and jazz, featuring many original compositions and arrangements. They performed frequently across Ohio at venues ranging from weddings and private parties to music festivals and full concerts from June 2004 to June 2008. High Street's later performances included concerts to full houses in Columbus, Cincinnati, Chillicothe, Port Clinton and the Toledo area, as well as a guest performances for crowds of several thousand as part of the Port Clinton Walleye Drop. High Street recorded three studio albums, and garnered several awards at national competitions in North Carolina, New Jersey and New York including Best Soloist and Best Arrangement. All former members of The Ohio State University Men's Glee Club, the vocalists of High Street still take great pride in their work and truly loved the opportunity to share with their audiences the joy of a cappella music.
