Ricardo Lopez aka Fuse was born in St Ann Jamaica, in a small district called Seville heights Priory.He attended the St anns bay infant and primary school and then later went to the York Castle high school where he was first introduced to music classes.
At the age of eleven fuse was thought how to play the flute by his music teacher Mr. Livermore who also thought him how to read and write music. After doing three years in Browns Town he left to finish the other two years at the Marcus Garvey technical high school where he got even more involved in music. Everyday Ricardo and his friends would dj and knock benches imitating bounty killer, beenie man and many other artists
It was then that he developed a love for djing and decided that he would start writing his own lyrics.
One day the school was having a concert and his friends thought it would be a good idea if he went and did one of his songs. With the motivation from his peers he decided he would represent. Upon hitting the stage by uttering the first words the place was going crazy, there were screams and shouts everywhere, the feeling was one not to forget.
It was that day that fuse decided that music was going to be his thing.
Ricardo made his first recording on the in touch label for producer Courtney McIntosh a track called we love all girls and then on the challis palace label for producer Greg rose aka perfect. Fuse has performed on many shows since, the St Ann kite festival, Chezideks rising son concert, full clip reloaded, Miss Seville height 98-2008 and many more, and is making a name for himself locally and internationally.
Recently he is getting radio rotations on the number 1 reggae radio station in Jamaica irie fm and many others. Slowly but surly fuse is becoming one of St anns best upcoming artist with his new single out on the yaad youth label LIFE GOES ON he is destined for grate things.
